3rd-8th grade 3-on-3 basketball tournament in memory of Isaac Julian Ryan-McKinnon!

The purpose of this tournament is to raise money for the National Coho Salmon Festival and the Isaac Julian Legacy Foundation to further the future of the festival and provide funds for scholarships given annually in Isaac Ryan-McKinnon’s honor. We hope this tournament will give the youth from the surrounding communities a chance to participate in a positive, competitive event.
Spectators are encouraged to come and cheer on their favorite team and enjoy a fun filled day at this year’s Isaac’s 3-on-3 Middle School Basketball Tournament.
Preregistration is required. Each team must register as a team. Deadline for registration is August 1, 2016. Please make checks payable to National Coho Salmon Festival, Inc. Please mail checks and completed registration forms to: National Coho Salmon Festival, Inc., P.O. Box 438, Honor, MI 49640. Registration forms will NOT be processed without the entry fee. NO cash refunds will be given.
Format: Every player registered by August 1st will get a commemorative water bottle. Each team will play at least three games. First Place 3 ON 3 TEAMS Will Receive INDIVIDUAL Medals.
The National Coho Salmon Festival and the Isaac Julian Legacy Foundation reserve the right to eliminate any team, individual player, or fan.
Don’t forget to sign up for the Co-Ed Free Throw Contest (available for 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 brackets) starting at 12:00 noon! There will be a co-ed 3-Point Contest for Junior High!
We will have (at least) 4 courts in two court areas, running simultaneously. Check-in will be ongoing throughout the day at the location your team will be playing in.
Morning Sessions: Starts at 9:00 am and should wrap up around 12:00 noon.

- 5/6th Girls & Boys
Afternoon Sessions: Starts at 2:00 pm and should wrap up around 5:00 pm.
- 7/8th Girls & Boys
Each team must have three (3) or four (4) players on their roster. NO ROSTER SUBSTITUTIONS once your team is registered. Substitutions will only be allowed if the new team player meets the requirements of the division their team is scheduled to play in. No substitutions once play has begun; if a player is injured, the team must continue on with 3 players. Teams are split by gender into divisions by age. Teams will be placed in divisions based on the grade of the oldest player. If there is a boy on the roster, the team will be in the Boy’s bracket.
Concessions will be available throughout the day.
Rules and times will be emailed approximately 3-4 days prior to the tournament.
